Saturday Wine Tasting With Champagne & Lunch

Our Saturday Course is a full day total wine immersion experience hosted in a lovely wine bar in the historic centre of the beautiful market town of Shrewsbury.

It includes Champagne and nibbles on arrival, plus a further 12 wines to taste and a delicious 2-course lunch.

The day is hosted in a private room at St Vincents, Shrewsbury. This  is Shrewsbury's newest and trendiest wine venue.

This is a very informal event, no prior experience necessary.  We simply kick back and enjoy some lovely wines in a very relaxed atmosphere.  There is of course some very useful information on all things wine-related for you to take away, but don't stress about it, the whole point of this event is an indulgent and fun treat!

Overview of the day:

• We kick off at 11.00am with a glass of Champagne and nibbles
• An introduction to wine including how to sniff and slurp like a professional
• A tasting of classic white wines from the Old and New World including France, Germany, Spain, Australia and New Zealand
• A delicious 2 course seasonal lunch served at around 1.00pm
• A tasting of red wines from the Old and New World, including Bordeaux, Chianti and Rioja, compared with Australia, South Africa or Argentina
• The day will finish at 4.00pm
