Jo has held a passion for enjoying wine for many years; however she found herself, like many people, buying only those wines that she really liked – for drinking at home and when out in restaurants.
This meant that whilst Jo drank nice wine, her choices were usually safe and within a relatively narrow range.
All that changed after an evening at a restaurant with a fantastic sommelier who treated the whole table to an eye-opening extravaganza of amazing – and very different – wines.
Jo took it upon herself to discover new tastes and wine experiences. Her journey led her to meet Debbie, to take formal WSET qualifications and to make friends with her local, independent wine merchants.
Her passion now is not just finding and enjoying great wines, it is using her wine knowledge to help others perhaps discover their own wine epiphany.
