Event Description
Well, you cannot go to South Africa without trying some Pinotage, but there are so many other great wines from this country to taste too. Many of the grapes came from France, so expect some Bordeaux grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot maybe some Syrah aka Shiraz!
But of course, we must taste a fabulous Shiraz from the Barossa Valley in Australia, maybe a Cabernet Sauvignon from the cooler Margaret River region, plus lots of other grape varieties to choose from like Primitivo, Tempranillo.
Then heading to New Zealand, famed for Pinot Noir, some say as good as a Pinot Noir from Burgundy but a fraction of the price - we'll let you be the judge!!
We'll be tasting 6 different wines this evening.
