Event Description
An Italian wine tasting adventure! Focusing on the north west, we'll visit Piedmont and Lombardy, starting with Italy's 'other' sparkling wine, Franciacorta, which is rapidly gaining a reputation as Italy's answer to champagne.
We'll check out some delicious whites from lesser-known varieites (Arneis, Timorasso) and try a range of Piedmont's famed reds. Maybe even a mouth-watering Moscato d’Asti, the perfect pairing with a decadent slice of sponge cake!
