Italy is home to an amazing array of grapes - with around 350 varieties authorised for use in wine production! And because its inhabitants have been making wine for millennia, it has many historic, unique wine making traditions and techniques too. Tasting at least 24 wines over 4 weeks, we'll take you on a journey around Italy's diverse regions, sharing the familiar and the new, the classics and a few surprises!
From Arneis in the north to Zibibbo in the south, our A-Z of grapes will reveal a wealth of flavours and aromas across a diverse range of sparkling, white, rosé and red wines from all over Italy. We'll take in both well known and undiscovered regions, show you where to look for bargains and suggest what to pair with each wine each week.
