Event Description
Tuscany. One of Italy's greatest wine regions. On this evening we'll be tasting some of the greats.
Learn about the region's wine making traditions, savour the flavours of the famous wines of Chianti, Montalcino and Montepulciano, find out about the latest up and coming producers.
The tasting will cover:
- Different communes and the impact on the wine
- Wine making changes in the region
- Explore classic vintages and those to put in your cellar
- The difference bottle age can make
- Icons of the region
- Up and coming producers
The lineup will be revealed nearer the time but will include a selection of the following:
- Chianti Classico
- Brunello di Montalcino
- Super Tuscan
- Vino Nobile di Montelpulciano
- Vernaccia di San Gimignano
- Bolgheri
All tastings include: minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet, and use of professional tastings glasses.
