The colour and structure of red wine is clsoely related to the physical composition of the grape variety, and especially its skin. However, red wines can also strongly reflect where they are grown, with warmer climates producing more full-bodied and more alcoholic wines. Oak maturation is very common in red wines and tonight we will showcase how this technique impacts on the final wine in your glass.
