Get into the spirit of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with this special one-off wine tasting where we go off the beaten track and explore those hidden gems from less well known grape varieties and countries from around the world. We all know about the famous wines of Europe but have you ever tried Greece's crisp and lively Assyrtiko? Or Hungary's soft and seductive Furmint? And did you know that Lebanon produces some of the most revered red wines in the world?
We'll taste these wines and more in this evening's celebration of all things weird and wonderful, exotic and unusual in the exciting world of wine. So join us for this 2 hour tasting where we'll explore 7 different, unique wines that you won't find in your local supermarket, broaden your horizons and discover something new. Carrie will be on hand to guide you through each of the wines, and you'll get full tasting notes and details of where you can seek out the wines tasted on the night.
