WSET wine courses

Sussex Wine School has been an approved provider of WSET courses since 2012. Our team of experienced WSET Certified Educators will guide you through your course. WSET Level 2 and Level 3 courses now include access to Wine With Jimmy online learning support.  Our pass rates are consistently better than the global average and we are proud to partner with the Drinks Trust via their DEVELOP programme, to support those on a low income to join our flagship WSET courses. 

Brighton WSET Courses at a glance

WSET Level 1 in Wine:  Discover and taste the main grape varieties, plus explore food and wine pairing. 6 wines tasted / 7 hrs tuition / 0 hrs home study / multiple-choice exam. 

WSET Level 2 in Wine:  Taste a wider range of grapes and wine styles and start exploring the wines regions of the world. 35+ wines tasted / 18 hrs tuition / 14 hrs home study / multiple-choice exam. Now includes access to Wine With Jimmy online learning support.  

WSET Level 3 in Wine:  Delve deeper into the world of wines gaining a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. Learn how to assess wines accurately, and confidently explain wine style and quality. 60+ wines tasted / 30 hrs tuition / 54 hrs home study / 2 hour exam: multiple-choice & written answer paper + blind-tasting paper. Now includes access to Wine With Jimmy online learning support.  

We also offer VIRTUAL Level 1 in Wine and Level 2 in Wine with live tuition via Zoom.
