Event Description
Beaujolais Nouveau had it's hey-day in the 1980s and the fight to get your hands on a bottle of the latest vintage was quite something. It is experiencing a retro come back in the 2020s!
Celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day - Thurs 20th Nov - at Sussex Wine School with a great mix of six delicious Beaujolais wines including:
- Beaujolais Nouveau from a fab producer
- Beaujolais Villages
- Beaujolais Cru lighter in style eg. Fleurie, Saint-Amour
- Beaujolais Cru medium bodied eg. Brouilly, Chiroubles
- Beaujolais Cru fuller in style eg. Morgon, Moulin a Vent
Each wine will be paired with regional charcuterie and cheese that combines to make a wonderful pairing.
This evenign food and wine tasting includes tasting samples of six wines paired with charcuterie and cheeses, a digital presentation with Q&A.
