Jonny is on a mission to inspire people about wine. As well as running regular wine tastings, courses and trips he has helped hundreds of wine enthusiasts and professionals pass WSET and other wine certification courses since founding Sussex Wine School in Brighton in 2012.
It has been an interesting journey from early days in the marketing department at Diageo running Smirnoff and Croft Port through to brand and design projects for Jameson, Chivas Regal and Louis Roederer to buying and importing wine. His enthusiasm and fascination for wine has increased the more he has travelled to different wine regions.
Jonny holds the WSET Diploma, is a WSET Certified Educator and is a member of the Association of Wine Educators. He is an approved course provider for the Wine Scholar Guild programs, Capstone California courses and the new Champagne Specialist course. He has worked as a judge at the Drinks Business Global Masters competitions and as a brand ambassador for both Moet & Chandon and Champagne Ruinart.
