Event Description
Food and Wine matching can be a tricky concept. We've all had something that unexpectedly works as well as those matches that destroy our palates. On this tasting we'll be putting the main principles to the test.
- Does sweetness always kill a dy wine?
- What exactly is umami and how does it affect wine?
- Does every salty food really make a wine better?
- When is too much chilli too much for you?
We will try 6 different wines and tatse them all with 6 different pairings. Some will be treats, some will be tricks. Do you dare try?
All tastings include: minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet, and use of professional tastings glasses.
Please let us know of any dietary considerations at the time of booking. We are working hard to make this tasting suitable for those following a gluten free diet.
