Event Description
Discover the wines of Central Italy. Italy's most planted grape, Sangiovese has it's home here. We'll be uncovering the wines made from this famous grape as well as some of the region's hidden gems.
Central Italy is home to one of Italy's most iconic regions-Tuscany. The regions here include Chianti, Brunello, as well as the iconic Super-Tuscans. We'll uncover what makes these so famous, alongside the wines of the adriatic Coast. This tasting will include a selection of the following:
- Verdicchio from Le Marche
- Rich, white blends from Umbria
- Orvieto
- Juicy Montepulciano
- Chianti
- The reds of Montalcino
- Modern Bordeaux blends
- Sagrantino
- Vin Santo
All tastings include: minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet, and use of professional tastings glasses.
