World of Wine Series: Loire and Burgundy

Part 3 of our global wine journey sees a return to France, but now we head to the North to learn about the stunning whites of the Loire and Burgundy. Elegant, racy wines with an abundance of mineral notes; like Spring in a glass, whatever the season!

Dry whites, crisp whites, sweet whites, oaky whites- we've got them all and we can't wait to share! Journey along the Loire where you'll discover a new grape variety in every village, from Melon Blanc (Muscadet) to Chenin and on to Sauvignon Blanc; we'll try them all! Down to Burgundy and we arrive in more of a monoculture, here it's all about the Chardonnay! But with such different styles produced from one village to the next, we'll have to try at least a couple to make sure we sample the differences ;-) Finally, last stop, we'll show you why Beaujolais is actually the best kept secret in this neck of the woods... you'll be convert for sure!
