Event Description
Our roving World of Wine series continues with a broad brush stroke across the southern end of Europe. Wines from Italy, Spain and increasingly Portugal, are consistently voted favourites by our Wine Schoolers. Value for ££ and food friendly too!
Italy, Spain and Portugal are home to a host of indigenous grape varieties; and whilst the names of Albarino, Touriga Nacional, Nebbiolo and Greco don't roll off the tongue with quite the same familiarity as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, they are making wines which suit the British palate to a T.
Tonight, the wine selection is all about variety: a mix of both reds and whites, big bold juicy wines which reflect the warmth of the climate, but also a smattering of lighter, more elegant styles. A great tasting to broaden your wine horizons in the tastiest possible fashion!
Our World of Wine series is available to book as a selection of single evenings or save yourself some £££ and book the whole 8-part course in one go. Each evening will introduce you to another part of the fascinating world of wine. Ideal for anyone fostering a growing interest in this fascinating subject.
