With Yorkshire's beautiful climate and brilliant people (not to mention our famous humility) it was only a matter of time before Yorkshire wines became the talk of the winemaking world!

We are delighted to share that Yorkshire Local Wine School and Towthorpe Vineyard have teamed up to host a “Tour of Yorkshire” wine tasting session at Towthorpe Vineyard.

Join Laura and Peter for a look some of the wonderful wines coming out of Yorkshire today.  They will share stories of incredible winemakers and talk about what is happening in the region.

Yorkshire is the new kid on the English Wine block, but it is already shining with award-winning wines. The county is split into 5 distinctive wine regions, and we will take a virtual journey through the Yorkshire landscape talking about the grapes and the delicious wines they make

The session will taste sparkling wine, whites and reds, showing Yorkshire’s diversity.  We will showcase how Yorkshire wine makers are producing great wines from PIWI varieties and working magic with classic varieties we all know and love.

The event will be held at Towthorpe Vineyard in the vines, and after the tasting you’ll get chance to look around the vineyard.

The event will be held on 5th September and starts at 1 pm. We will taste 7 wines and the event will last approximately 2 hours.
