Event Description
A chance to sample six sensational Shiraz all from South Australia, many aged to their peak drinking window, featuring a range of styles and price points.
Join Laura as she explores the range of South Australian Shiraz, starting with a supermarket own-label which we think is the best out their at the mo and finishing with a legendary bottling from one of Barossa's iconic producers.
You will taste:
Wines from Eden Valley (cool climate), Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and a multi-site blend.
Wines from current vintages; fresh, full of fruit and just the way we tend to drink them!
A couple of wines with 5-10 years age to see how the finest bottlings mature.
At least one wine with 12+ years in the bottle so you can appreciate the tertiary complexities of a full developed Barossa Shiraz.
Laura has a few specific bottles in mind, but there is plenty to pick from. We would love to share some special Shiraz with you all.
