Event Description
A tasting to celebrate all that is pretty in pink: 6 gorgeous rosè wines from all over the globe to put the pizzazz in to your summer drinking. We'll taste Rosè Champagne along with a wealth of styles from delicate and light to robust and gastronomic.
We last held this tasting in the summer of 2019 and people were bowled over by the diversity of the wines on show. Rosè is a lot more grown up these days (and alot pricier!) so if you are keen to dive in and taste some of the finest pinks out there, we'll put together a line up to dazzle.
The darling of many rosè fans currently is the classic Provence style- oh so pale and oh so dry. We'll make sure all you fans of Whispering Angel aren't disappointed! We've always been partial to the Spanish pinks out there... still quite dry, but with a bit more gutsy fruit flavour behind them. Laura has had her head deep in her Italian Wine Scholar books this year, so get ready from some Italian rosato which will have you crying out 'bellissimo' as you drink!
We'll pick a couple of delightful nibbles to bring out the best in our wines, perhaps some fennel seed salami or some creamy goats cheese. It promises to be a delicious wine tasting with a proper sunshine-in-a-glass vibe!
