Meet the Maker with Colterenzio

Join us as we welcome special ambassadors from one of our favourite Alto Adige producers Colterenzio, here in Leeds with us for one evening only to take you through a line-up of their beautiful wines.

Please note, our venue will be Bottega Milanese, 2 Bond Court, Leeds LS1 2JZ., and the event starts at 6pm.

Known for delicate, mineral-filled, clean crisp whites, Colterenzio produce some of the most elegant and poised expressions of Pinot Grigio and Gewurztraminer around. And their Chardonnay? Wow! Rich and oily but then bracingly crisp on the finish. We’ll also have a chance to taste some very rare and deeply delicious reds, these guys make fragrant and elegant Pinot Noir, plus they work with local varieties like Schiava Nero and Lagrein grown on the famous slopes of St Magdalena.

We’ll confirm the line up nearer the time but suffice to say these are beautiful summery wines which will be just perfect to enjoy at this time of year. As always, the juice in the glass tastes that much better when you have the chance to sit and chat with the men and women who help to make it.

Our tastings at Bottega Milanese are super-casual affairs, we like the informal setting as a great environment to welcome special guests and have more of a ‘turn up and taste and chat’ sort of evening with less of a classroom setting. There will be some bread, cheeses and charcuterie to nibble on as we taste the wines. We hope you can join us!
