Is there anything more indulgent than pairing wine with delicious cheese? Well, what if the wines were fortified? We're talking about the smooth, complex flavours of wines like Port, Sherry, Madeira and Marsala, not to mention some contenders from the New World!
We'll taste 6 different fortified wines in a variety of styles, and explore a range of different pairings, from classics to the less conventional. Perhaps a Port and blue cheese, maybe Amontillado sherry and Brie, Marsala and Parmesan - these are just some of the possibilities!
There's so much variety of style in fortified wine, so come and find a new fortified fave, or a surprising pairing... or just come and enjoy what we think must be the most grown-up kind of winter warmer possible!
