Hello! This is a late second career for me, following modern language studies, and having lived in France, developing a passion for its regional wines, especially those from the South West and Champagne. Wine studies lead to gaining the WSET Diploma, French Wine Scholar Guild, and more courses - Viticulture at Plumpton, Academy of Cheese, whilst working for Hampshire’s exemplary award-winning sparkling wine producers - from winter pruning and harvest, to running bespoke tours & tastings. Specialising in traditional method wines, with a current keen focus on South Africa’s Western Cape and Spain’s Galicia!
