I love wine. There, I’ve said it. If you’ve met me, you probably know this already. I also love talking to people. Having spent a good few years running a country pub with my husband and family, I was fortunate enough to work with some fantastic local wine merchants, carefully selecting wines for our customers. So it was then I decided I wanted to explore the world of wine in more detail and set about studying for my WSET Levels 2 and 3. Fast forward to today and as the Owner of Essex Wine School, I’m now able to share my passion for wine with you all!

My favourite thing about wine is how it brings people together, so many good conversations start over a bottle of wine! There’s always something to learn and always something new to try. You won’t hear me telling you what you should or shouldn’t drink, but if you follow along on our social media, you will hear me shouting about my latest bargain discoveries!

I’m a firm believer that wine is to be enjoyed, so if I can help people discover new varieties and new favourites to share with others, then I go home happy!
