Event Description
This course offers wine lovers a unique chance to explore the more unusual and hard-to-find wines on the market. The 'international' varieties - Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot - are wonderful but it's always a real treat to head off the beaten track and find something that's a one-off, with great sense of place.
Join us as we work through the Alphabet of Grapes:
Week 1: 5th February : A to G
Week 2: 12th February: H to M
Week 3:19th February : N to S
Week 4: 26th February : T to Z
We can't reveal too much about the grapes or wines that we'll be tasting - the aim of this course is to discover wines that you've not come across before, discovering new wine regions as we taste!
Each evening will include: tasting samples of 6 carefully selected wines, full wine notes & handouts, a 2 hour interactive presentation with Q&A, led by our wine tutor.
