There's no question that these are among the best examples in the world, but, they are joined now by a host of newcomers; Australia and California have carved a reputation for wonderful Chardonnay whilst New Zealand, California, Oregon and Germany have all added their Pinot Noirs to the elite group. Do they deserve to be there? Are they now the superior rather than the inferior?
