Alix grew up in France and began her love of wine early with a glass of Muscadet in hand sitting on a Breton quayside. From there she fuelled her passion working in wine bars and tasting through as much of their lists as humanly possible.
After a stint as a cellar hand in South Africa, she returned to London to complete her WSET studies before achieving the WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits in 2019 She then discovered West London Wine School where she became an Italian, French & Spanish Wine Scholar.
One of her favourite achievements was the wine bar & restaurant she owned and ran in northeast London for over six years. The concept was Galician, with a hearty nod to northern Spain in general. Great excitement came in having her own wine list to play with.
Since then she completed her Educator Training Program with WSET and joined the team at West London Wine School.
Particular love interests: South Africa, Northern Spain, Southern Italy, Alsace & Sour Beer!
