Event Description
Join us for an immersive evening where we peel back the layers of two of the world’s most iconic red wines: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
This will be a tutored tasting of 6 wines from renowned regions, including Bordeaux, Napa Valley, Stellenbosch, Margaret River and others, all chosen to reflect the variation that can be found between the wines of the Old World and those of the New World.
The tasting will give guests a chance to taste the difference between single varietal and blends whilst also looking at what goes on with tannins, structure, barrel ageing, bottle ageing and most importantly what foods to pair with these wines ..... other than steak!
This tasting is part of our Under the Grape Skin series—designed to take wine lovers beneath the surface, exploring the varietals, terroir, winemaking techniques, and flavor profiles that define each wine.
