Event Description
Welcome to an evening of Southern European delights! Both Spain and Italy have long produced outstanding wines with classics such as Rioja, Chianti, Cava and Barolo. This evening will touch on these perennial favourites and we will explore their enduring popularity. We'll also be bracing our taste buds for some wines that you may not have heard of!
For many centuries, Portugal has been famous for its fortified wine - Port. This evening, we will be exploring how the wine makers of the Douro Valley have been exploiting the same grape varieties to make robust, ripe, chocolatey table wines, often some of Europe's best value reds!
Six wines will be tasted throughout the evening.
