We’ll explore the birth of golden lager in 19th-century Bavaria and the groundbreaking creation of the world’s first pale pilsner in Plzeň in 1842 – a beer that changed brewing forever. Along the way, we’ll uncover how traditional cold fermentation, noble hops, and continental brewing craftsmanship shaped the beers we know today.
Throughout the evening, you’ll taste eight carefully selected lagers and pilsners, spanning classic European examples to modern interpretations.
