Event Description
This session concentrates on two of the major regions of Italian wine, Tuscany and the Veneto. We’ll see just how well Sangiovese performs in Tuscany, but how the region also has an affinity for other grapes, both red and white. We’ll look at just how good Soave and Valpolicella can be once you rise above the bargain basement level. And we’ll also pepper the evening with a trio of grapes that thrive in central Italy, namely Montepulciano, Sagrantino and Verdicchio.
