Our Old Vine Masterclass last year was a great success, with a selection of eight wines from around the world illustrating the complexity and character achieved using grapes from ancient gnarled vines.
We’re very happy to be working with the estimable Old Vine Project again in 2026, and this time we’re focusing on just one country – Italy. Given that Italy has been producing wine for centuries, and is topped only by Spain in the area devoted to vineyards, it’s no surprise that the country has several plots of old vines.
We’re nearly there on the eight-wine line-up - there are 2 still to be determined, but these 6 (ranging in price from ~£25 to £60+) will all feature:
