Event Description
Our first ever South African Masterclass promises to be a cracker. We’re still putting the finishing touches to the precise line up, but most of the eight available slots for wines are already spoken for.
So in reds, there’ll be Stellenbosch Cabernet and Swartland Syrah, augmented (probably) with Pinot Noir and/or Pinotage. For whites, there’ll be a couple of Chenin Blancs, one of them arguably South Africa’s most famous, an equally renowned sweet wine to finish plus (again probably) a Chardonnay and perhaps something Sauvignon-y. And we may kick off with one of the Cape's fine sparkling wines...
Whatever the line-up ends up being, be assured that it’ll be an array that shows why many people currently rate South Africa as one of the most exciting wine countries in the world. As usual with our Masterclasses, the average price of the wines is in excess of £25. And there’ll be some cheese, possibly some biltong and definitely a good supply of our favourite Rosemary crackers. Join us for an afternoon of Cape Classics!
