Event Description
We’re convening again in the upstairs room above the Grape to Grain shop/bar in Prestwich which is just the right size for small-scale tastings, giving us a chance to open some of those wines where we have only one bottle.
This time, we'll be looking at how Germany offers much more than Riesling - ever had German Cabernet Franc? Or Chardonnay? Or Sauvignon Blanc? Riesling fans, don't despair - there'll be two in among the eight wines, plus a couple of examples of Spätburgunder aka Pinot Noir - and a bit of cheese too... But the goal of the evening is to show just that there's more to German wine than many people think - join us for the exploration!
