Course Description
It’s your chance to experience two expert presenters within the space of a few days, AND save some money in the process.
On April 4th, it's our Argentine Wine Masterclass. For this, we’re being joined by Phil Crozier a man who has done more than anyone to spread the word of Argentinean wine in the UK, initially through his work as Wine Director of the Gaucho Grill restaurants, and subsequently as an official ambassador for Wines of Argentina. He’ll be guiding us through eight wines, only two of which feature Malbec – there’ll be more of a focus on wines made from the Criolla varieties, grapes of European origin but which have been in Argentina so long that they’re considered natives. Expect great wines, great stories and great company.
Then on April 9th, András Horkay, founder and director of the Central European Wine Institute in Budapest, will be our host for a tasting of Wines from Hungary. András has been promoting Hungarian wines and wine regions both at home and abroad since 2010, has worked as an advisor for several of the country’s wine regions and also lectures in the field of tourism and hospitality. He’ll be guiding us through at least eight wines from the districts of Villány in the south west, home of splendid red wines, and Tokaj in the north east, which has worldwide renown for its sweet wines.
Two experts, two great tastings and one great offer – book for both tastings and instead of it costing £90, you pay just £75.
