Event Description
The ancient civilisations were largely responsible for spreading viticulture and wine making around Europe, and yet Greek wine has languished in reputation for a few decades.
Thanks for new generations of wine makers, great wine making knowledge and embracing indigenous grapes, the country is seeing a well-earned revolution on a global scale.
Grapes like Xinomavro, Assyrtiko and Agiorgitiko produce beguiling, intriguing wines with plenty of depth and power - and most importantly, they pair beautifully with the local food!
Join us for a wonderful evening of Greek food & wine exploration - informal, fun wine discovery in a room full of wine enthusiasts, just like you!
Your evening will include: tasting samples of six carefully selected wines, tasting samples of Greek specialist food paired with each wine, full wine notes & handouts, a 2 hour interactive presentation, with Q&A, led by our wine tutor.
