Event Description
Spain is home to over 140 appellations. SWE introduces you to 23 of the most influential. Each wine is presented within a regional and cultural context while landmarks and traditional cuisine are highlighted to complete the curriculum.
The comprehensive course structure includes a 95-page study manual, access to interactive e-learning and support from expert educators to guide you through a sensory adventure across Spain. The program is available in a flexible online format or via in-person classes at one of our global Course Providers.
More than just an introductory course, Spanish Wine Essentials (SWE) is a prelude to a lifelong romance with Spanish wines, a launchpad to the internationally revered Spanish Wine Scholar® Certification Program, vibrant WSG Member Community and the first step towards wine mastery!

Who is Spanish Wine Essentials for?
