There is nothing wrong with these wines particulalry if they are made from good quality grapes with care, but its good to try new wines and wine styles too.
Luckily Italy is blessed with over hundres of indigenous grape varieties and over 400 quality wine regions.
This wine tasting will introduce you some of these hidden gems. Wines like Rossese di Dolceacqua from Liguria, Prie Blanc from Valle d'Asosta, Arneis from Piemonte, Friulano from Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, Piedirosso from Campania and Nerello Mascelese from Sicily.
