Event Description
There are some tried and tested, classic food and wine parirng combinations out here: steak and Malbec, mussels and Muscadet, and fish and chips with Champagne (if you haven't tried this trust us, it's fabulous).
Sometimes you just don't want to cook and there's nothing better than a good, classic bar snack with your wine. However, put a little thought into it, and there are some taste incredible relevlations to enjoy!
We will taste some really special wines and match them with our favourite bar snacks while sticking to the principles of classic wine and food matches. We change up our pairings each time, but here is a sneak peak at what we've paired before:
Salty, crisp Pork Scratchings with an ripe, pungent German Riesling.
Kent Crisps Oyster & Vinegar with English sparkling wine.
Biltong with barrel aged, Stellenbosch Pinotage
Thai Rice Crackers with Alsace Gewurztraminer
Spanish Gordal Olives with Txacoli (crisp white wine from Pais Vasco)
