Jonny has been working within the wine and spirits industry for over 30 years. It has been an interesting journey from early days in the marketing department at Diageo running Smirnoff and Croft Port through to brand and design projects for Jameson, Chivas Regal and Louis Roederer to buying and importing wine. His enthusiasm and fascination for wine have increased the more he has travelled to different wine regions.
Jonny holds the WSET Diploma and is a WSET Certified Educator qualified to teach up to WSET Levels 3. He has also passed all three Wine Scholar Guild programs - French Wine Scholar, Italian Wine Scholar and Spanish Wine Scholar - with highest honours and is qualified to teach all three courses. He has worked as a judge for the Drinks Business Global Masters competitions and as a brand ambassador for both Moet et Chandon champagne and Ruinart champagne. He set up Sussex Wine School Tunbridge Wells (now Kent Wine School) in early 2012 and also runs Sussex Wine School in Brighton.
