Event Description
This course offers wine lovers a unique chance to explore the more unusual and hard-to-find wines on the market. The 'international' varieites - Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot - are wonderful but it's always a real treat to head off the beaten track and find something that's a one-off, with great sense of place.
Join us as we work through the Alphabet of Grapes:
Week 1: 11 Sept: A to G
Week 2: 18th Sept: H to M
Week 3: 25 Sept: N to S
Week 4: 2nd Oct: T to Z
We can't reveal too much about the grapes or wines that we'll be tasting - the aim of this course is to discover wines that you've not come across before, discovering new wine regions as we taste!
Each evening will include: tasting samples of 6 carefully selected wines, light nibbles to pair with each wine, full wine notes & handouts, a 2 hour interactive presentation with Q&A, led by our wine tutor.
