The WSET Level 3 Award in Wines is an advanced wine course suitable for trade professionals and wine enthusiasts who wish to learn about wines in a rigorous and structured manner, and gain an internationally recognised wine qualification. You must have completed the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines (or equivalent) to enrol on the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines course.
This qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately, and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality.
All our course tutors are qualified to deliver courses on behalf of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.

Building upon the knowledge gained at Level 2. You will acquire a thorough understanding of the natural and human factors influencing the style, quality and price of wines from key wine producing regions of the world. You will also develop analytical tasting skills using the WSET Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting. Your blind tasting skills will form part of the examinations.
Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.
The Level 3 in Wines course is a necessary qualification for those wishing to progress to the WSET Level 4 Diploma course.
