Maria Day

Maria has recently moved back to the coastal town of Bournemouth after many years in Asia, mostly Hong Kong but also Singapore and Vietnam.  Whilst living in Hong Kong and taking a break from corporate life she decided to persue her passion for wine and study her WSET Level 2 and 3 and spent the last few years studying the WSET Level 4 (Diploma).

In October 2019 she was invited to judge wines at The People's Choice Awards in Manchester and has made connections all over the world from her love of food and wine and travelled to many wine regions including Margaret River, South Africa, Tasmania, Porto, Jerez, Barossa Valley, Champagne, Languedoc, Provence, Maclaren Vale, Loire Valley, Tuscany and Bordeaux.

She now wants to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for all things wine including all things Sparkling, Food Matching and Pairing in a fun, informal way so that you can enjoy, learn and have fun all in one setting.
