English Wine Showcase

English Wine is on the up! There is now some real experience and experitise in the English Wine Trade. 

Many of you will now be familiar with the sparkling wines of England and how they can stand up to Champagne in terms of quality and finesse. But there is also a growing number of still wine varieties for you to sample. For example, the Bachhus variety, that is often seen as the English answer to Sauvignon Blanc. 

There are also some superb examples of Rose wine made from varieties such as Pinot Noir and Regent. 

Finally, we also sample some English Red blends to see how they stand up to our well known European and New World favourites. 

We will sample a range of wine styles alaong with snacks and a cheese pairing.
