Event Description
Looking for an alternative to your New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc? Do you find yourself reaching for a Malbec as you kind of know what you are going to get?
There are hundreds of grape varieties and wine regions around the world that are producing some fantastic wine but may not be as familar.
The idea of this tasting is to an identifty a very well-known wine, such as an Australian Shiraz or Italian Pinot Grigio and show you some wines that may have similar characteristics but can offer something a little different.
The main aim is to give you confidence the next time you go wine shopping or reading a wine list by broadening the range of wines with which you are familiar.
And of course, we will taste lots of lovely wine with the usual blend of learning, discussion, fun and laughter!
