Event Description
The wines of Saumur are terrific restaurant wines - often the perfect accompaniment to a range of foods given the generally cool climate of the Loire valley.
Chateau Langlois was founded in Saumur following the marriage of Edouard Langlois and Jeanne Chateau in 1885. Initially specialising in making sparkling wines, today under the watchful eye of owner François-Régis de Fougeroux they also produce some wonderful still wines.
Come and explore the appellation of Saumur and discover what it can offer so you are prepared next time you spot it on a wine list or in a shop.
We'll taste a delicious red wine made from Cabernet Franc and we will be comparing two white wines (made from Chenin Blanc), one from older vines sold at twice the price. Will there be enough difference in quality to tempt you in future?
Book on this page for ONE person connecting to our online tasting. For TWO or more people on one video device you can save money using this page: please see here.
