Course Description
Do you have favourite grape varieties you almost always choose? Do you prefer French wines or New World wines (Australia, South Africa, America)?
Join our fun-filled 4-part BLIND tasting course exploring French wines made from famous grapes and comparing them with New World examples. You will definitely find new favourites.
No previous experience is necessary - the emphasis is upon learning by tasting.
Each evening is conducted in a light-hearted and fun way, finishing with a vote to see if we preferred the French or the New World versions. You may be surprised!
The aim is to teach you to tell the difference between countries by smell and taste alone! Imagine how much easier that'll make the next time you have to choose.
This course runs for one evening each week and it is flexible - if you need to skip a night, just let us know in advance and you'll be able to pick up a repeat session.
We have priced the course to give you an overall saving against booking the nights separately.
What will I get from this course?
- Taste 24 wines from a variety of countries
- Get to know the main regions of France and the wines produced in each
- Learn how to taste wine like a professional
- Practice our system for discerning the difference that climate makes
- Discover new places where your favourite grape varieties make great wine
What if I can’t make one of the evenings?
Not a problem. You can either send a substitute or if you let us know we can schedule you onto a repeat session or give you a credit to use against any event.
