Event Description
Welcome to the wonderful wines of Germany, Austria and Hungary! Join us for a discovery of some well kept hidden gems and delve into some of the more aromatic styles central Europe has to offer.
Germany produces some of the best Riesling in the world and people often forget the versatility of this humble grape variety. Apart from the wonderful Riesling, it also produces some outstanding Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc), Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) and of course Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir).
Austria in recent years has shown popularity with the infamous Grüner Veltliner, but has plenty of more to offer and the same goes for the next door neighbour Hungary.
Your tasting will include:
- Six carefully selected wines from Germany, Austria and Hungary
- 2-hour tutored wine tasting with wine notes
- Nibbles
