WSET Courses are open to everyone
Level 1 is an ideal starting point for you to get to grips with the basics. In a short space of time you’ll find yourself feeling more confident tasting wine, navigating a wine list, buying wine in shops and pairing wine with food.
Level 2 is a perfect course for you if you want to learn about a wide range of grapes and wine styles. You’ll gain the enviable knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown and the styles of wine they produce. Perfect to build on what you learn at Level 1 (but note that Level 1 is not a prerequisite for Level 2 - you can start at this level).
Level 3 is for you if you want to build on knowledge gained at Level 2. We go broader and deeper - it is designed to give you a thorough understanding of the factors accounting for style, quality and price in the principal still, sparkling and fortified wines of the world. You'll learn to use tasting notes to make objective conclusions about a wine's quality and readiness for drinking.
