This much-loved wine day traces back to 1953 in Cambados, the heart of Spain’s Rías Baixas region, where a friendly competition to find the best Albariño grew into the now-famous Fiesta del Albariño. Unlike many modern “wine days,” this one has real heritage.
Albariño is one of the standout white grapes right now—crisp, refreshing, and a brilliant alternative to Sauvignon Blanc or Picpoul. Grown in Galicia in northwest Spain, it’s the signature grape of Rías Baixas and pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled vegetables, and fresh salads.
Join us for a tasting of seven carefully selected Albariño wines, showcasing a range of styles from fresh and zesty to more complex expressions—each paired with artisan cheeses from Gourmet Cheese Co.
